Privacy Policy

How DataVizForge handles spreadsheet imports, crawl requests, account data, and routine operational logs.

Overview

DataVizForge offers two browser-based workflows: Crawl fetches a public URL and extracts structured rows, while Chart turns spreadsheet data into charts. This policy explains what those actions involve.

Chart imports

Chart reads .xlsx and .xls files in your browser. The spreadsheet itself is not uploaded just to render the chart preview.

A lightweight request may still be sent to check usage limits or account access, but the chart view is built from local file data in the browser.

Crawl requests

When you use Crawl, the server requests the public URL you submit, parses HTML tables, JSON-LD, and qualifying lists, and returns the extracted rows to you.

Submit only URLs that you are comfortable asking the service to fetch on your behalf.

Accounts and billing

If you create an account or pay for access, we keep the minimum authentication, account, and billing-status data needed to operate the service and support your plan.

Cookies, local storage, and logs

The site may use cookies or browser storage for session, usage, and interface preferences such as theme.

Like most services, routine request metadata and error logs may be retained for abuse prevention, debugging, and security.
