What does Crawl extract?

Crawl fetches the public URL you submit and extracts HTML tables, JSON-LD blocks, and qualifying lists into reviewable rows.

What does Chart accept?

Chart reads .xlsx and .xls files in the browser and can also chart the first dataset sent from Crawl.

Will Crawl work on every page?

No. Pages behind logins, heavy bot protection, or unusually large responses may fail or return no structured data.

Chart files stay in your browser. Crawl requests are processed on demand from the URL you submit so the service can fetch and parse the page.

Source dates must be visible before a chart export leaves review

Charts without a visible source date become soft stories the moment the underlying sheet refreshes. Starting 2026-07-20, DataVizForge news and blog cadence treats the source date as part of the same release checklist as claim text and axis scale.

Before you export PNG or SVG, confirm three items in one pass: what claim the chart supports, whether the axis scale makes that claim fair, and whether the dataset refresh date is readable without opening another tab.
