Real-Time Data Streaming Is Here

DataVizForge has launched real-time data streaming support, enabling live chart updates via WebSocket and Server-Sent Events (SSE). This is our most requested feature, and it's now available to all registered users.

How It Works

  1. Connect Your Data Source — Point DataVizForge at your WebSocket endpoint or SSE stream
  2. Map Data Fields — Use our visual field mapper to bind incoming JSON fields to chart axes
  3. Watch It Live — Charts update automatically as new data points arrive, with configurable buffer windows and update intervals

Use Cases

  • Live Dashboards — Monitor server metrics, sales data, or social media sentiment in real time
  • Financial Tracking — Stream stock prices, crypto tickers, or exchange rates with sub-second updates
  • IoT Monitoring — Visualize sensor data streams from devices and industrial equipment
  • Live Event Analytics — Track attendance, engagement, or performance metrics during live events

Performance

Our streaming engine handles up to 1,000 data points per second per chart with smooth 60fps rendering. The buffer window is configurable from 10 seconds to 24 hours, and you can pause/resume the stream at any time.

Getting Started

The streaming feature is available on all paid plans. Visit your Chart Studio and select "Live Stream" as your data source type. Documentation is available in the API Docs.
