Dashboard annotations used to vanish the moment you exported a still image. Reviewers received a clean chart with no context about why a spike mattered or what the dotted line represented.
Starting 2026-07-30, DataVizForge exports annotation layers as part of the PNG or PDF output. Callout boxes, trend-line labels, and free-text notes render at their canvas positions in the exported file. Annotations also survive SVG export as editable vector elements, so downstream design tools can reposition them without rasterizing.
Existing exports without annotations are unaffected. The feature is additive and controlled by a toggle in the export dialog. Feedback: sapsap@qq.com.
